About:
Kanlungan (translated to "sanctuary" in English) is a nonprofit animal shelter owned by the young Calliope Vida Hermillana. It is a small but growing rescue home located in Makati City, Philippines. This foundation started on February 24, 2023—and since then, Kanlungan has given a lot of abandoned cats and dogs a second chance at life.Our focus lies on rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming abused, abandoned, and neglected animals. We also run feeding programs for stray animals in nearby areas.Every animal here has a name, a story, and a space where they are loved until they find a forever home. Volunteers, donations, and adopters are always welcome.
